What prompted you to seek b project’s services? What situation or problem did you need to solve?
I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the hip and was told that I needed a hip replacement by an orthopedic surgeon. I was in considerable pain and started to lose flexibility and also strength in my legs and back. My surfing started to suffer as a result.
Why did you specifically select b project?
A surfing friend of mine – Dr. Carl Ware – recommended b project. Brad and Kristina at b project developed a work out and massage program that helped Carl recover from peripheral neuropathy and lower back pain. I saw, first hand, the progress that Carl made – he continues to surf really well.
What do you like best about b project?
The personal attention I receive. Brad and Kristina have developed work out routines that are customized to my physical needs. Also, as hard as the work is, the atmosphere is super relaxed.
What is the hardest part about b project?
Split leg squats and trunk rotations on the balance board.
What has changed since starting b project?
My strength and flexibility have significantly improved. I surf with confidence and have very little pain after surf trips or multiple surf days. I don’t plan on having hip replacement surgery any time soon.
Is there anything you’d like to add?
Even though there are a lot of professional athletes that are treated at b project, I feel that I receive the same level of professional and personal attention as everyone else there.
